In the period of January 29 to February 2, 2014, at the IEC “Moldexpo”, will be held the thirteenth edition of the Multisectoral National Exhibition “Made in Moldova”, being one of the most important exhibition events in the Republic of Moldova, that brings together economic agents from various activity fields and regions of the country. The Exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
The Exhibition “Made in Moldova” aims at supporting local producers, creating the premises for launch on domestic market of competitive products, developing strategic pathways to stimulate innovational activity in the scientific and production field, thereby contributing to the increase of domestic and foreign investment, and to the creation of a favorable business environment.
The event in question directs local consumers towards local producers and stimulates the production of competitive and quality goods.
The Expo-Fair will present to the public a various range of the most qualitative products and services of local producers. Also, the current edition of the exhibition will host an extensive business program, within which will be discussed issues of great topicality for both consumers and producers: various round tables, presentations of companies and products, international seminars, conferences, forums on current issues in the field of commercial and economic cooperation, and the annual awarding ceremony of the Republican Contest “Trademark of the Year”.
At last year’s edition over 300 companies exhibited of their achievements and were present over 40 thousand visitors from the country and from the delegations of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Iran, Poland, etc.

State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will participate this year as well in the National Exhibition “Made in Moldova” with an information stand on the national intellectual property system, giving participants advice on how to protect intellectual property objects in the country and abroad, the national legislation in the field of intellectual property, harmonized with EU legislation in the field, issues regarding the enforcement of intellectual property rights, conditions for online submission of applications for protection, how to access national databases ( inventions, industrial designs, product and service trademarks, plant varieties, geographical indications, copyright), publicly available on-line, non-stop, through the website of AGEPI .
Also, in the program of events of the current edition of the exhibition, AGEPI will organize an information and tuition seminar for economic agents in the field of protection and utilization of trademarks, as intellectual property objects, entitled “Trademark: Between Benefits and Risks”, in which are invited to participate both the representatives of enterprises participating in the exhibition, including from the small and medium-sized enterprises sector, and any other persons interested in the field of trademarks.
The seminar will be held in the Conference Hall of the Central Pavilion of the IEC “Moldexpo” J.S.C. (1, Ghiocelor str.), January 30, 2014, starting at 10.00. The participation in the seminar is free, subject to available places.
