Seminar ’’Evropski patentni sistem i zaštita patenata u Evropi’’

U Podgorici, u hotelu Premier Apart, 24. oktobra 2013. god., održan je seminar’’Evropski patentni sistem i zaštita patenata u Evropi’’, u organizaciji Evropskog patentnog zavoda (EPO), Evropske patentne akademije i Zavoda za intelektualnu svojinu Crne Gore.

Seminar je otvorio gospodin Novak Adžić, direktor Zavoda za intelektualnu svojinu Crne Gore, koji je u svom uvodnom obraćanju naglasio da ’’EPO i Zavod imaju izvanrednu saradnju, koja datira od početka rada Zavoda: Zavod je zvanično otvoren 28. maja 2008. god., a realizacija Regionalnog programa o pravima intelektualne i industrijske svojine za zemlje Zapadnog Balkana i Tursku, IPA 2007 (gdje je Zavod, zajedno sa drugim institucijama iz oblasti zaštite prava IS, bio glavni korisnik u Crnoj Gori) počela je 16. novembra 2008.god.’’ Direktor Adzić je potom rekao da je Zavod bio korisnik projekta ’’Jačanje politika industrijske i intelektualne svojine u Crnoj Gori’’, IPA 2009, da je oba projekta finansirala Evropska komisija, a implementirao EPO, i istakao da su rezultati pomenutih projekata bili izuzetno korisni za Zavod: unaprijedjena je informaciona infrastruktura i poboljšani kapaciteti Zavoda. Direktor Adžić takođe je informisao prisutne da je Seminar organizovan iz okvira Plana bilateralne saradnje između EPO-a i Zavoda, a potom pozdravio goste iz EPO-a i sve učesnike, poželio svima uspješan rad i proglasio Seminar otvorenim.

Seminar je bio izuzetno uspješan, što potvrđuje veliki broj učesnika (ukupno 36) koji su pokazali zainteresovanost za sve teme na seminaru iskazanu kroz veliki broj pitanja, kao i kroz očekivanje da će biti još seminara na temu zaštite patenata.

    The new EU trade mark Regulation enters into force on March 23rd. As a result, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) will change its name to the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

    The amending Regulation also revises the fees payable to the Office, including an overall reduction in their amounts, particularly in the case of trade mark renewal fees. On 23.3. 2016, the Office’s online application forms and fee calculator will be automatically updated to reflect the new system.
    From its base in Alicante, Spain, OHIM has processed more than 1.3 million Community trade mark applications in 23 EU languages, from nearly every country and region in the world, since 1996.

    The Amending Regulation was published on 24 December 2015 and is part of the EU trade mark reform legislative package that also includes the replacement of the existing EU Trade Mark Directive (Directive 2008/95/EC of the European Parliament and the Council).

    OHIM is the EU’s largest decentralised agency. It is entirely self-financed, receiving no funding from the EU Budget. As well as managing the Community trade mark and the registered Community design (RCD), it works in collaboration with the EU national and regional IP offices to build a stronger IP system across the EU for the benefit of users.
