A delegation from OHIM took part in Sweden’s “Trade Mark Day 2009”, organised in Stockholm on 20 January.    The event included presentations on building brands, legal protection for a famous toy brand, the problems of piracy, and the latest EU   The program can be found on: http://oami.europa.eu/ows/rw/resource/documents/OHIM/news/events/programme200109.pdf

The Commission for Consumers Protection stopped misleading print advertisement of commercial chain „Praktiker”. The company has distributed a promotional brochure, which advertises goods for preferential prices in connection with the opening of their jubilee hundredth store. During the inspection inspectors of CCP find, one of the articles is not available.
