The Yemeni Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a new Ministerial Decision No. (100) dated 21 August 2013, by which the publication fees of the Trademarks applications and all transactions pertinent thereto, including renewals, assignment, licensing, mortgage, change of name, change of address, cancellation, Industrial Designs and Models, and Patents in the Yemeni Official Gazette has been increased.
Further, the publication fees related to Companies license and authorization, Commercial Register, Insurance Companies grant authorization or renewal decisions, Recordal of Trade Names and amendments, Commercial Agencies, and Certified Accountants license, in the Yemeni Official Gazette has been increased as per the amounts indicated in the Schedule 1 enclosed with the decision.
The Ministerial Decision also has specified the size of the publications in the Yemeni Official Gazette in relation to Trademarks, and Patents in the Schedule 2 enclosed with the decision.
