Sakpatenti announced that on 5 th of March 2014 was held an official meeting between the representatives of The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Economic Prosperity Initiative (EPI) and the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia Sakpatenti.
The participants were Mr. Andy Simmons – Director of USAID’s Global Development Lab, USAID’s Deputy Assistant Administrator senior deputy for Europe and Eurasia – Mrs. Roberta Mahoney and USAID Caucasus Mission Director – Mr. Stephen Haykin.
The subject of the event was the new “Electronic Filing“system of Sakpatenti, which was established “with the support and funding of USAID Economic Prosperity initiative (EPI)”. This new system permits to the interested persons to apply remotely, to manage IP Documents and to have access to useful information. Fees could also be paid by internet.
