On July 10, 2014 in Munich, signed a bilateral agreement on cooperation between Dr. Safet Emruli, director of the State Office of Industrial Property of Macedonia and Mr. Francois Rezhis Hanar, director of European and international cooperation in the European Patent Office.
Bilateral cooperation agreement is based on the strategic document for cooperation with member states of the European Patent Organization for 2012-2015, approved by the Administrative Council decision contained in document CA/85/11.
The collaboration between the two institutes will be conducted and is based on three main pillars relating to:
- strengthening the capacity of the Office through training, seminars and workshops;
- raising the level of the data exchange between the institutes and
- preparation of training materials and prmocija patents and innovation.
The cooperation of the State Office of Industrial Property and the European Patent Office will continue to run the executive level in the bodies and organs of the organization.
