Saudi Arabia – Payment of Publication Fees

The Registrar of the Trademark Office in Saudi Arabia has issued a circular letter on 12 February 2014 stating that advertisement fees must be paid within 30 days from the date of acceptance. Failing to do so will result in the abandonment of the application.

This new regulation replaces the previous practice, which did not have a time limit to pay the advertisement fees.
