astanaOn May 22th Sakpatenti visited the VII annual Astana Economic Forum. The delegation has been headed by the Chairman Irakli Ghvaladze. There have been 130 countries represented, as well as officials from the governmental, business and private sectors. Sakpatenti announces also the important signing of “Protocol on Amending the Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Georgia in the Field of Industrial Property Protection of November 11, 1997”during this visit.

The Forum has been also host for the second World Anti-crisis Conference – a place for discussions on intellectual property protection challenges like the illicit use of appellations of origin and the sale of counterfeited goods.
