The United States stimulates Lebanon to pursue the efforts on IPR legislative reforms and amendments to Lebanon’s patent and copyright laws and the efforts to accede to the WIPO Internet treaties. The Lebanon Parliament is advised to approve several additional IPR treaties-the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks, and the Patent Cooperation Treaty. On the other hand, the United States reminds Lebanon to provide its Cyber Crime and Intellectual Property Rights Bureau (CCIPRB) with enforcement authority and of the need of enforcement resources for the working of the enforcement authorities.
