The Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property will hold the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Intellectual Property: A Look into the Future” timed to coincide with the 45th anniversary of the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property.
The conference will take place in Moscow on October 30-31, 2013.
The general partner of the event is the non-profit organization Scientific Centre for Development and Commercialization of New Technologies (Fund “Skolkovo”) and the Informational partner is Publishing house “Intellectual Property”.
The program of the conference includes six major IP Panel Discussions:
- Formation of the system for training of personnel for the innovation economy;
- Practical aspects of the activities in the intellectual property;
- Policy in the area of Intellectual Property in universities;
- Economic aspects of Intellectual property. Commercialization of Intellectual Property;
- Topical issues of legal protection of intellectual property;
- Experts in the field of intellectual property: the next generation.
They will give a light on issues like:
Review of the practice of common patent protection in Europe; Problems of putting into circulation of intellectual property rights; Intellectual property in scientific researches: problems and perspectives; Formation of an effective portfolio of intellectual property objects; Sale of Russian inventions in the global market; The ratio of patent infringement disputes and disputes on the validity of patent rights; Protection of intellectual property rights on the Internet; The copyrights in Russia and the United States: some aspects of comparative legal analysis; Trademarks with a reputation and the registration of identical marks in respect of other classes of goods and services; and more.
The lecturers will be prominent figures in the field of the Intellectual Property from Russia, Bulgaria, Italy, Ukraine, Belarus.
