Intellectual Property Office of Viet Nam (IP Viet Nam), State Agency on Intellectual Property (Republic of Moldova) and National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI) (Tunisia) to begin receiving and processing international applications in electronic form.
The Intellectual Property Office of Viet Nam (IP Viet Nam) (with effect from 1 December 2019), the State Agency on Intellectual Property (Republic of Moldova) (with effect from 2 December 2019) and the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI) (Tunisia) (with effect from 2 January 2020), in their capacities as receiving Offices (RO/VN, RO/MD and RO/TN, respectively), have notified the International Bureau (IB) under PCT Rule 89bis.1(d) that they will be prepared to receive and process international applications in electronic form.
The Offices will accept international applications filed in electronic form using ePCT‑Filing. The applicable electronic filing fee reductions listed in item 4 of the Schedule of Fees are indicated in Fee Table I(a).
The notifications containing the requirements and practices of RO/VN and RO/MD with regard to the filing of international applications in electronic form were published in the Official Notices (PCT Gazette) on 31 October 2019, and the notification concerning RO/TN will be published shortly, at: www.wipo.int/pct/en/official_notices/index.html
