The Minister of Trade and Supply has issued Decree No. 95/ 2014 dated 13 March 2014, in which the following new official fees have been amended:
- Payment of EGP 250 for each hearing in respect of trademark/industrial design oppositions, as previously there was no fees;
- Obtaining duplicate certificate of trademark, industrial design registration, or any other documents is now EGP 200 instead of EGP 56, and
- Official search fees are now EGP 200 instead of EGP 150.
The said decree will be effective as of 1 April 2014.
The other official fees for filing, processing and registrations remain unchanged, and our revised schedule of charges reflects the increase in government tax only.
