Doubts about Lack of Transparency and Expected Results in the Upcoming Exams for Industrial Property Representatives

According to the national Intellectual property portal IP Bugaria, the organization of the industrial property representatives exam runs in gross violation of its Instructions for implementation and the generally accepted social and EU principles for transparency.
For example until this moment the list of the composition from which members for the examining committee will be appointed is not known, or might be hidden or is just missing, i.e. the Patent Office do not even make efforts to ensure transparency and objectivity minimum.
Also strange to the society remains the fact that many officials of the Patent Office will pass the exam before their colleagues and subordinates in order to acquire a professional qualification in a questionable way.
Until now there is no official statement of the Chairman of the Bulgarian Patent Office if this is an act of mass leaving of the department or taking an advantage of their official position.
There is no reply from the Chairman of the of the Patent Office – will the civil servants, who have not taken their exams, leave the institution because of proven unsuitability.
The national Intellectual property site IP Bugaria will monitor the progress of the examination campaign and will post all the signals received about irregularities in the implementation of the test, and will inform the responsible institutions.
