At the IFTF 2011 for the first time CIOPORA was presented at a large-scale trade fair with an own booth, kindly sponsored by HPP Exhibitions. CIOPORA’s participation in the exhibition was welcomed by member-exhibitors and visitors of the show. President of CIOPORA Andrea Mansuino opened the event in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 2 creating a buzz in the sector-oriented media.
The participation of CIOPORA in the IFTF 2011 was aimed at the promotion of the association’s positions towards important issues of Intellectual Property Protection for plant innovation. CIOPORA’s position papers as well as other informational materials about the association and its activities were made available for the interested visitors of the booth. The business talks at the CIOPORA stand were sweetened by chocolate giveaways with the golden Anniversary logo of the association.
As over 100 plant novelties were introduced at the IFTF 2011, the presence of CIOPORA, as one of the largest and the most established breeder organizations of the sector, was a logical step towards the enhancement of its external communication.
