In collaboration with the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) are pleased to announce roundtable discussions about the Canadian Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) on October 28 and 29. This year, representatives from the European Patent Office (EPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will also be attending.
Participants will exchange ideas about the PCT and share related IPO best practices on patent administration.
Please note that the Roundtable should not be considered primarily educational. Roundtable members must have two plus (2+) years of PCT International filing experience or knowledge. The purpose of this group is to promote the exchange of ideas on PCT and foreign patent administrative practice, and provide feedback and suggestions to WIPO and CIPO in order to facilitate and improve the PCT process.
For more information about the PCT Roundtable please visit the Intellectual Property Office of Canada’s website.
If you wish to attend this year’s Roundtable, please complete the Registration and Question & Information Forms by October 11th, 2013, and return them to IPIC, e-mail: admin@nullipic.ca
