During the visit of the President of the French Republic in Brazil on 12 and 13 December, an agreement for cooperation in the fight against counterfeiting was signed between the two governments.

The 2014-2015 cooperation of the two countries will focus on the exchange of information on projects to hinder counterfeiting and on the need of having proper control.

Organization of a seminar on the importance of respecting intellectual property rights and genuine and counterfeit products exhibitions are planned.
