On 20-21 March in Warsaw was held a conference on the role of design in the development of regions and enterprises, organized by the Polish Patent Office. During the meeting were discussed issues on the possibility of obtaining financial support to entrepreneurs, co-designers of small and medium-sized enterprises for business innovation in the programs of the new EU financial perspective. The result of such cooperation is in fact innovative, functional and attractive products and services that not only feature the original form, but also comprehensively address the needs of the user, including ergonomics and ecology.
Entrepreneurs and representatives of related creative sector exchanged experiences on identifying the necessary financial, legal and educational measures that would contribute to a greater use of industrial design and implementation of innovative solutions for SMEs. Issues related to the business innovation in the public-private partnership were also concerned .
