Transitional period for applications for PBR in SERBIA ends in June

Since 10 June 2009 a new PBR law is in force in the Republic of Serbia. The law includes a transitional provision, which allows breeders – for a period of three years – to apply for PBR in Serbia for varieties, which do not meet the novelty criterion anymore (being on the market in Serbia for more than one year, outside for more than 4/6 years). Please find the respective Article 52 of the Serbian PBR law attached.

Last day for such applications is 10 June 2012.

According to information from the Serbian government the application fee currently is 600 dinars (approximately 6 EURO).Serbia takes over DUS reports from other countries.
