The Convergence Programme section of the portal has been completely revamped to introduce more resources and details on each of the common projects carried out by the members of the European Trade Mark and Design Network.
The section is the central access point to the current status of the harmonisation efforts, and includes all relevant resources, such as Common Communications adopted by IP Offices, the activity of the Working Groups and the Central Team tasked with coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the common practices across the Network.
The Convergence Programme is a joint effort carried out by OHIM, National and Regional IP Offices and User Associations to reach harmonisation in those areas where intellectual property offices have different practices, bringing more transparency and certainty to users.
